The problem

Bertagni Sweet Butternut Squash Ravioli is being recalled because it contains almonds and cashew nuts but this isn’t declared on the labels.

Details

The product is imported from Italy. It was sold refrigerated in 250g plastic packets from various stores and supermarkets throughout New Zealand.

The affected batches are identified by the following codes:

  • L1 533 BJ
  • L2 522 BW
  • L1 511 DQ
  • L1 511 DR

These codes can be found at the bottom of the front of the packets.

What to do

Customers with an allergy or intolerance to almonds or cashew nuts should not consume the product. Return it to your retailer for a full refund or call Mediterranean Food Warehouse on 04 939 8100 with any questions.
