The problem

Farmers is recalling Candylishus Gumball Paint Cans and Candylishus Jellybean Paint Cans because the handles have been detaching from the sides of the containers. The metal rivets are falling into the can and mixing with the confectionery, causing a choking hazard.

Details

The products have been available since 11 September 2014. There were sold in Farmers stores in Albany, Takapuna, Manukau, Rotorua, Tauranga, Cuba St and Paraparaumu.

What to do

  • Stop eating the confectionery and return it to Farmers for a full refund.

  • Farmers can be contacted on 0800 327 637 or email callcentre@farmers.co.nz.
