CarbaTec has recalled its RT-660 Router Table. The router table comes with a switch unit mounted on one of the legs by three bolts. The switch unit has a socket outlet that plugs into your wood router to use on the router table. The Phase and Neutral wires on the switch unit may be swapped. This does not comply with NZ standards.

RT-660 Router Table models were sold in New Zealand after 1 June 2012.

What to do

Disconnect your router table from the power supply and contact CarbaTec who will arrange to have your switch unit couriered to Auckland.

After being checked or repaired (if necessary), the unit will be returned to you within a few days.

For more information, contact CarbaTec New Zealand on 0800 444 329.
