The problem

Eta has recalled a specific batch of its Uppercuts Deli Cut Sea Salt + Balsamic Vinegar (140g) potato chips. A few packets may contain an incorrect flavour that has soy in it. The soy is not declared on the packaging. Some people can be allergic to soy.

Affected bags of Eta Uppercuts Deli Cut Sea Salt + Balsamic Vinegar (140g) potato chips have the following date and time markings:

Best Before: 20 OCT 17
Time Code 18:40 to 18:44 CP1

The product comes in 140g plastic bags and is sold only at Countdown Sunnynook in North Shore.

What to do

Check the date marking printed on the back of the outer packaging. People with a soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. If you have consumed this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic or intolerant to soy, this recall does not affect you.
