The problem

MANN+HUMMEL has recalled some of its Filtron and Wix diesel fuel filters. A manufacturing fault may result in a diesel leak which could pose a fire hazard.

Details

The filters were sold and installed at Filtron and Wix Filters stockists nationwide.

The following filters are affected:

Filtron

  • 841 / 6 FIL

Wix Filters

  • 841 / 6 WXA
  • 841 / 6 WXE

What to do

If you suspect you have an affected fuel filter but cannot confirm this yourself, contact the workshop or retailer where you purchased the filter to organise an inspection.

The manufacturer MANN+HUMMEL will cover the cost of inspection and replacement. Inspection costs will also be covered if your filter is not affected.
