Recall: Fox mountain bike shock absorbers

Rear shock absorbers could rupture and cause injury to the rider.

The problem

Blue Shark has recalled its Fox Float X2 mountain bike shock absorbers. The outer sleeve on rear shock absorbers can rupture and come into contact with other bicycle parts or the rider. This could cause a fall or injury.


All Float shock absorbers manufactured on or before 9 September 2016 are affected.

They were installed on the following full suspension mountain bikes:

What to do

Immediately stop using any bicycle with the recalled rear shock absorbers and return it to the place of purchase for a free repair.

If you are unable to return the bicycle or for more information, contact the supplier Blue Shark for further instructions.
