The problem

e-motion has recalled some of its Haibike electric bicycles because the bike fork could fail and lead to loss of control and injury.

Details

The recalled bike models are:

  • 2015 Haibike Xduro Urban
  • 2016 Haibike Xduro Urban RC
  • Haibike Xduro Race

The Xduro Race bike was sold through Techbikes in Christchurch which is now closed.

What to do

e-motion has contacted all Urban model owners and they will be provided with a replacement fork in the next few weeks.

If you have the Haibike Race model, contact e-motion by emailing help@e-motion.co.nz to organise a replacement fork, free of charge, when parts become available.
