The problem

Countdown has recalled its Halloween ghost and pumpkin LED spinning wands. The wands may crack open if dropped and expose the button batteries. Button batteries can seriously injure young children if swallowed.

The wands were sold at Countdown supermarkets nationwide from 3 - 19 October 2016.

They can be identified by article number 478720.

What to do

Stop using the product immediately and return it to any Countdown supermarket for a full refund.
