The problem

Pak’nSave Cameron Road (Tauranga) has recalled a specific batch of its Pak’nSave NZ pork roast because the product has been labelled with an incorrect Use By date.

Details

The affected raw meat product is labelled "NZ pork roast" (as pictured) and is marked with the dates:

  • Packed on 13.07.17
  • Use By 01.10.19

It is only sold at Pak’nSave Cameron Road (476 Cameron Road, Tauranga). It comes in various weights, in plastic wrapped trays with Pak’nSave branded stickers.

What to do

Check the date marking on the price sticker on the product. The affected product should have been consumed before 18.07.17 (unless frozen). It should not be consumed after this date unless frozen.

There have been no reports of illness, however if you have consumed any of this product after the 18.07.17 (unless frozen) and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.
