Trade Aid has recalled the following painted products because the paint contains unsafe levels of lead:
Lead can cause permanent damage to physical and mental health.
The flutes were sold at Trade Aid shops nationwide and online between October 2016 and January 2017.
The affected styles of nesting dolls are:
The nesting dolls were sold at Trade Aid shops nationwide and online, and at The Addington Store (Christchurch) between October 2016 and January 2017.
The frog style was also sold at the Potters Patch Cooperative (Motueka).
The nesting doll bookends were sold at Trade Aid shops nationwide and online, The Addington Store (Christchurch) and the Potters Patch Cooperative (Motueka).
The products should not be used if they were purchased since October 2016.
