The problem

Sunrise Medical has recalled its Quickie Q7 Wheelchair as the backrest brackets may break from the chair frame. This could cause you to fall from the seat and injure your head or lower back.

Details

Affected wheelchairs can be identified by the following:

  • Model number ER14
  • Serial number in the range R4-007239 to R4-022394

The wheelchairs were manufactured between 1 September 2009 and 27 November 2013.

What to do

Check the serial number of your Quickie Q7 Wheelchair. This can be found on a silver sticker on the seat frame, under the seat sling.

If your wheelchair is affected and you have not already been contacted about this issue, contact Ebos Healthcare on 0800 105 501 to replace the backrest brackets.
