The problem

Starbucks stainless steel straws are rigid and can injure you if used during activity. Children have been injured when using the straws while running or jumping.

Details

The straws were available from Starbucks stores from mid-2012 to 2015.

They were supplied with the Starbucks 16oz Stainless Steel Cold-to-Go drinking cups.

The straw has a ridge at the bottom that keeps it attached to the lid.

What to do

Use the straw with care. You should not let children handle or use the stainless steel straws.
