The problem

Supercheap Auto has recalled its 1200kg trolley jack. The trolley jacks may not comply with the required Australian/New Zealand standard for trolley jack durability. Vehicles supported by an unsafe or inappropriately-used trolley jack can fall onto a person, causing injury or death.

Details

The trolley jacks were sold at Supercheap Auto stores from 5 July 2014 as part of Supercheap Auto's 5 Piece Garage Jack Pack.

They are marked on the side plate with PLU number 358257.

What to do

Stop using the trolley jack and return it to your Supercheap Auto store for a refund or replacement with a 1400kg trolley jack.

For more information, contact Supercheap Auto on 0800 500 605, from 8.30am-5pm, Monday-Friday or email CustomerInteractionCentreTeam@superretailgroup.com.
