Kia Ora Seafoods has recalled some of its Te Kouma Bay brand Half Shell Coromandel Pacific Oysters because they have elevated levels of E.coli.
Affected Te Kouma Bay Half Shell Coromandel Pacific Oysters were sold individually unwrapped, or as 12 half shell oysters in a plastic tray covered by plastic wrap.

The product is sold in Pak’nSave and New World supermarkets throughout the North Island. It was also sold in the following retail stores as individual half shell oysters during these timeframes:
The product has also been exported to the United States (Hawaii only) and French Polynesia.
Check the batch number and date mark on the product label. Affected products should not be consumed. If you have consumed this product and have any concerns about illness, seek medical advice.
