Overall score
Soft soap scum
To simulate soft soap scum, we use a scum comprised of hard soaps, synthetic sebum (simulating bodily oils) and carbon black (to give the scum colour so its removal can be measured). The scum is baked on to white ceramic tiles at 80°C and is then scrubbed off with a mechanical scrubbing arm. To determine the scum-removal score, we measured the light reflected before and after scrubbing. We repeated each test three times and averaged the results.
Hard soap scum
To simulate hard soap scum, we used a combination of calcium stearate and carbon black. Calcium stearate is the most common hard soap scum and is formed due to the reaction between soap ingredients and calcium ions present in water. The scum is baked on to white ceramic tiles at 180°C and is then scrubbed off with a mechanical scrubbing arm. To determine the scum-removal score, we measured the light reflected before and after scrubbing. We repeated each test three times and averaged the results.

Product use: 1 - 3 months
Pros:
I love it! I sprayed about four sprays on each of the acrylic walls of my 18 month old shower and spread it over with a sponge. Before showering, about 10 minutes later, I hosed off the walls and they were back to brand new. I'd spent hours scrubbing and trying various products to remove the built up water/soap scum. I bought Ajax Professional Cleaner on the recommendation of Consumer in the May magazine. This product is miraculous. It's 100% effective and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to clean their acrylic and glass shower walls/doors with the minimum of effort.

Pros:
This product was excellent for it's purpose one of the best I've used and used once in a City bathroom, however I have a bio-cycle septic system at my home address.....
Cons:
1. No labeling of suitability on packaging at point of purchase which necessitates a call to customer support to find ingredients and ability to use on the systems mentioned below.
2. Product is NOT suitable for Bio-Cycle or Septic Systems and is labelled '8' and 'Corrosive'.
3. My understanding is that this means it will destroy the good bacteria required in these types of systems to function.

Maybe, it depends on what you're after.
