We tested floor cleaners on white ceramic tiles, following the manufacturer’s instructions on how to dilute and apply the cleaner.
We soiled tiles with a mixture of oils and dirt, to represent everyday grime that ends up on floors. To simulate mopping, we used sponges attached to a mechanical scrubbing arm and scrubbed the tiles with light pressure.
To measure how well the products cleaned the tiles, we measured the reflectance before and after cleaning with a spectrophotometer.
We tested each product eight times and averaged the results.
Claims are as stated on the packaging. We have not tested the claims.
Price is for the pack size stated. Some cleaners may come in different pack sizes and fragrances - this doesn’t affect performance.

Quick and easy to use. We have a floating timber floor and these wipes do a great job of wiping off marks in between major cleans without leaving a streaky finish. The initial set costs a bit, but packs of refil wipes only around $6. Wipes also do a great job on tile areas.
Best if you mop or sweep first. Don't work so well if there is a lot of debris on the floor. Mop is quite lightweight, so be gentle!
