Bottom line: This 40W-equivalent LED bulb has very good light output and excellent switching life. But like most LEDs it’s non-dimmable.

Overall score
Light output: Based on % brighter than incandescent.
Switching life: Calculated on the number of on/off cycles (up to a maximum of 12,000) the bulb could withstand before it failed. A score of 10 = no failures.
Price: is what we paid in January 2014 and is per bulb.

Product use: 6 months or more
Pros:
Not as expensive as Panasonic ones
Great output - warm and cool white
Found these to be much brighter than their 'equivalent wattage' on the pack. E.g. Bought at 75w equivalent for a dark wardrobe and it is MUCH brighter than the old 75w that was in there.
Can be used in non-covered recessed lights
Cons:
None - they are all working fine.
Recommend it?
