We recommend petrol trimmers scoring above 85% overall. While the performance and ease-of-use of the best petrol trimmers in our tests has hovered at or above this level for a few years, battery-electric models continue to improve year on year.
We raised the bar for the performance of battery-powered trimmers to 80% after a batch of 7 cordless models returned impressive performance in our 2017 test.

ideal for ladies as light, easy to hold, battery easy to fit after charge, does pretty good tidy-up of section - we have 1/4acre and lots of pots etc to tidy round. cutting nylon reasonably long lasting, haven't had to change it yet so can't review on how easy that is yet. Have found it to be usual great Makita quality
Doesnt like heavy cutting situations, like flax, although this isn't what it is for. It is for lighter work,
Yes, I recommend this product.
