It just works

Pros

Fast, accurate, temp shown in Fahrenheit and Celsius (handing when following overseas recipes). Used it on the Xmas ham and it showed the temp change the deeper the probe was inserted.

Cons

Would be good if the little probe cover was a different colour. I keep losing it.

Recommend it?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Accurate and fast response

Pros

Speed and accuracy. You don't have to waste much heat or time when you lift the lid on the barbeque. Easy to probe a chicken in 3 or 4 places. Accuracy was checked against a high grade lab thermometer and was found to be spot on. I've had this thermometer for 2 years(?) and use it once a week, it still has the original battery.

Cons

Lack of backlight, hard to read in poor light.

Recommend it?

Yes, I recommend this product.
