Shutting the door damaged the latches breaking off the tip of one of them. The repair cost around $100. After nearly 4 years of use the spring mechanism which forces the latches to engage on closure failed completely. Repairs meant a new door for around $600, The agent Hillcrest Electronics in Rotorua recommended a new microwave so I bought a Panasonic. My old 1992 Sharp Carousel microwave bought in Hong Kong is still going strong!
