This induction saucepan is fast at boiling water and easy to pour from. But it’s very heavy and unbalanced.

    Good points

    • Fast boiling time.
    • OK to use.
    • Steam only escapes from the spout.
    • Pouring is easy (spout means less chance of dripping).

    Bad points

    • Very heavy and no extra handle to help with lifting.
    • Handle has no non-slip grip.
    • Unbalanced (so there’s pressure on your wrist when lifting).
    • Not dishwasher safe.

    How we test

Overall score is the overall ease of use score. This is made up of:

    Balance and weight (25%)
    Handle comfort (25%)
    Steam control (25%)
    Ease of pouring (25%)

We also tested how long each saucepan took to boil one litre of water, how hot the handles and lid knobs became during cooking, and how easy they were to clean.
