      Pouring

    Good points

    • Excellent boil time result.
    • Balanced, moderately heavy.
    • Comfortable stainless steel handle.
    • Fairly easy to pour, lip guides the pour, less chance of dripping on to bench ok to hold with one hand.
    • Stainless steel fairly easy to clean if food not baked on.

    Bad points

    • Steam escapes from around the lid, condensation build-up on the handle and causes the lid to rattle and water to splash on to the cooktop
    • No protective rim around the lid handle.
    • Glass lid has crevices that can accumulate grime and be difficult to clean.
    • Lid handle base area can become dangerously hot.

    How we test

Performance (70% of overall score): we cook scrambled eggs (70% of the performance score) to assess the pot’s evenness and stickability and we time how long it takes to heat 1L of water (30% of the performance score).

Ease of use (30%): we consider the balance of the pot, how comfortable the handle is, steam control, how easy it is to pour from, and how easy it is to clean.

    lid grip problem

    Pros

Have had one for 3 years or so. Pan itself is fine - easy to use and clean and cooks well

    Cons

The knob/grip on the lid is an issue - it accumulates moisture under the metal flange (presumably from washing etc) so you need to unscrew and clean every now and then, but within a fairly short time of getting the pan the plastic seating for the attachment screw threaded. So I now need to superglue the whole thing back on every couple of months - which frankly is a pain.

    Recommend it?

No, this product has too many drawbacks.
