We don’t retest older printers. To account for their age, each year we alter their overall and individual scores. This can affect whether a printer maintains recommended or worth considering status.

After a number of problematic inkjet printers I have switched to laser colour printers. This one has been very reliable, and the colour is perfectly good for documents and basic pictures.
Consumer points out the low cost of running it.
It prints on both sides of the page. (ie duplex) thus saving paper.
It was very cheap to buy especially with a manufacturer's rebate. I bought the non-wireless version.
I have bought a number of B&W brother laser printers and they generally seem to be very reliable.
I wouldn't recommend it if the main reason for purchase is to print beautiful colour photos.
Yes, I recommend this product.
