The hardware is excellent and it did the job fine once I got used to it - which basically meant I started using American Instant Pot cooker recipes via websites and YouTube rather than the Philips cookbook. We haven't tried slow cooking yet, but sauté and pressure cooking has given us tasty and convenient meals. I'd hate to lose my All in One cooker.
The official cookbook is appalling. Full of errors and missing information. The instructions are not very good. Philips's own website is full of user complaints, yet the company has never fixed the cookbook. Which is inexcusable. A drawback is that there's very little information and few recipes available on the Web. But we got excellent results once we discovered that Instant Pot recipes are directly transferable. There are masses of them on websites and on YouTube.
Yes, I recommend this product.
