Disappointing Product

Pros

It is recycled paper and inexpensive.

Cons

My 12 pack was nothing like the Consumer reviewed product. Paper tears easily, puncture resistance is not good. Certainly not the pick of the bunch as rated by Consumer. Poor quality feel. Loosely rolled.

Recommend it?

No, this product has too many drawbacks.

Earthcare Toilet Paper

Pros

I used to prefer it to all others - when I could rely on it being strong, with a rough dimpled surface that I thought did the required job well.

Cons

Some months ago I purchased my usual 12 pack - the paper was quite different. Smooth surfaced apparently 2 ply tissue. I sent my complaint to the email address given on the pack. No response.
Since then I have made a practice of close inspection through the clear section of the plastic covering, to make sure I was getting what I wanted.
Then during Lockdown a neighbour shopped for our grateful bubble of 2 eighty-six year olds - resulting in the wrong toilet paper - but I did not tell my neighbour.
Is this faultypackaging, or a change in product with no warning?
Which was tested?

Maybe, it depends on what you're after.

This review is a joke

Pros

Completely agree with the previous reviewer. Absolute nonsense that Kleenex is the worst. Kleenex is without doubt the best on the market due it being the softest. We have never had issues with it blocking the toilet. How can softness not be counted as a factor????

Long rolls are better

Pros

I love the environmental credentials of the recycled paper etc.
I find the long rolls are more robust so do a cleaner job with less as well as halving the recycling.

Cons

I’d prefer if they were wrapped in recyclable paper rather than plastic.
Could be softer.

Recommend it?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Earthcare

Pros

I like this product because it uses recycled paper and. I like the longer rolls as we do not have to change the roll so often. The plastic wrapping I use to line the bin in the bathroom so it is still useful.

Cons

It is not that soft which is no problem to us. Very occasionally I need a very soft paper due to the after effects of rectal surgery so I keep a small amount handy for those occasions.

Recommend it?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Your toilet paper test methodology is ridiculous.

Pros

I can guarantee you that not one of the people reading these reviews will agree with your ratings.

Cons

Earthcare and Savers are considered toilet papers of last resort when nothing better is available.

For you to rate them highest is just embarrassing.

Recommend it?

No, this product has too many drawbacks.
