Standard rolls even better
Pros
After Quilton are no longer made in NZ (the ones available now at Countdown and Mitre 10 are from Aus), Paseo are the next best thing I can get from both Foodstuffs and Countdown supermarkets.
I would have scored 90 on softness. The standard ones 100.
Feel the soft top side and don't use it upside down.
Stays soft after multiple use on the same day.
I cut open the packaging at the short end to retrieve my rolls. Then it becomes a collection bag for soft plastics recycling.
Cons
I found the long rolls squishes the pattern / paper more than the standard rolls, hence makes it less puffy (less soft) compared to the standard rolls.
It doesn't fit into our enclosed toilet roll caddy.
It's pricey but who wants a sore bum?
They are rarely on special since 2020.
