No obvious bad points.
We use specifications supplied by the manufacturer plus reliability and satisfaction data from our 2017 reliability survey to assess each system. Note: only DVS, HRV, SmartVent and MoistureMASTER had enough respondents for us to comment on their brand reliability and user satisfaction.

Immediately dried out the house. We know when the filter needs cleaning, because the windows start to show condensation. We have one son who got bad bronchial asthma in winter - now he hardly coughs in winter.
This is an easy to install DIY system, excluding having an electrician fit a 3 pin plug in the ceiling space and the wall controller. Once installed, switch it on and leave.
The filters are cheap and easy to clean, I wash them every 6mths. The waste bin filter is a must.
The Avon staff were very helpful, and after giving them our home plans they provided drawings and a ducting and list.
Ducting and vents are not included, therefore need to shop around for a good supplier.
The fresh air comes from outside, therefore avoid installing where a neighbour has a chimney- though Avon supply carbon filters.
In summer the hrv core stays warm well into the early morning hours, Avon supply a summer bypass, but I have yet to purchase one after 2 summers, though it would be good.
Yes, I recommend this product.
