We test how easy each service is to install on a Windows system and how easy it is to use. We look at whether it can be configured to run automatically on start-up; set to connect automatically when the program is launched; a speed check to detect the fastest server to connect to; and if it automatically selects the best server available.
Performance accounts for the discrepancy in download speed when using the VPN. The lower the discrepancy, the faster the connection. All tested VPNs had some discrepancy. A discrepancy of less than 5% results in an almost unnoticeable reduction in speed, but more than 25% results in sluggish speeds.
The privacy score is based on how many features the VPN has for protecting your identity and activity. We look at features such as user data logging, data encryption, and protection against deep packet inspection as well as disconnection protection and DNS (Domain Name System) leaks.

Cheap, fairly fast and seems reliable with good configuration options. I am still in 1st month of use. only marginally slower compared to my VDSL connection with VPN switched off. Don't believe the hype about this VPN "speeding up" your connection, it doesn't, and it isn't possible for any VPN to speed up your connection, unless your ISP applies throttling (ie vodafone)
The information provided on their website could be better. Has only one NZ server. The Aussie servers are a little slower.
Yes, I recommend this product.
