About our survey

Our data is from a nationally representative online survey of 1,921 New Zealanders, aged 18 years and older, carried out in August 2025.

Satisfaction ratings show the proportion of respondents who scored their provider 8, 9 or 10 on a scale from 0 (very dissatisfied) to 10 (very satisfied).

Providers with fewer than 30 responses are not shown.

Settling disputes

If you have an issue with a phone or internet provider and haven’t been able to resolve it with the company, you can take your case to the Telecommunications Dispute Resolution service.
