Happy despite occasional residue
Pros

I've been using this for many years. I really like the lack of scent. It generally does a fine job cleaning our laundry, noting that we normally use stain remover on any marks. I like the packaging because it isn't plastic. (I refuse to use 3-in-1 capsules because they contain plastic which ends up in the wastewater.)

Cons

Very occasionally a little white residue will remain on an item which is easy enough to re-rinse. It's worse in a top loader but ours is a front loader. The cardboard scoop is a bit flimsy. I still use one of the old plastic ones (& regret giving away my spares!) but I wish they would state the volume of powder needed, and that supermarkets would sell sturdy little stainless steel scoops with the appropriate levels marked. Others have noted issues with the packaging, which we get around by pouring the box into a plastic container with a wide lid & airtight seal when we open it. So much easier!

Persil Sensitive.
Pros

Does everything I need.
I actually get mine in a large 5 kg pack from Mitre 10 and it works out much cheaper even when it is on special at the supermarket.

Cons

As already mentioned, the powder gets into the lid and stuck there. Probably wouldn't work so well on hubby's grubby work clothes but I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Does a good job
Pros

No smelly fragrance. Does a perfectly good job. If I have to deal with something like tomato I soak with a little white vinegar first.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the packaging - powder ends up scattering from around the lid
