I have used this cooker for about 5 years and have had no problems. For safety reasons, the company recently did a product replacement of the silicone ring which sits inside the lid - I had never experienced any problems with mine, but it is good to know they are proactive.. It is so good to be able to saute meat, etc and use same pot for either slow cook or pressure cook without having to clean it! The pressure cook function is very easy to use, and a great asset if a meal is wanted in a hurry
Yes, does take up space, but then you don't need separate slow cooker and pressure cooker and fry pan for saute. The cooker doesn't emit the tantalizing smell of cooking like my previous slow cooker did - I miss that, but others mightn't.
Yes, I recommend this product.
