The prices may be low at Kmart, but that doesn’t mean the products we test from there always end up at the bottom of the heap. Sometimes, despite costing a lot less than the other products we’re testing, Kmart products come out on top.

We trialled these two Kmart products and thought they were great

Not all Kmart products fit into our test categories. So, often we’ll buy interesting Kmart products just to have a play with them, then write about what we found.

Here are two we liked.

Microwave toastie maker

We thought this gadget performed really well and found it held up well in the dishwasher. It was $19 when we tried it, but some colours are much cheaper now. You can read why we think the Kmart microwave toastie maker is worth it, even at the old price.

10.1-inch E-calendar

We trialled Kmart’s $189 E-calendar recently, and found it surprisingly polished and easy to use for the price. The device can display your household (or work) calendar, photos, shopping lists, to-do lists and more.
