Tick for new mag

The first of our bimonthly mags – June/July – received overwhelming support. Thank you!

The first of our bimonthly mags – June/July – received overwhelming support. Thank you!

Consumer member Lynne’s comments exemplified what many of you said: “Just like to say what an improvement for the bumper NEW magazine. Love the layout, the cover and the contents. Better with much more reading, not like before took only five mins. How do I sign up my daughter? Well done.”

Another member was so impressed she wanted to buy extra copies for her children and stepchildren. “I do not want to lend them my copy.”

The Bay of Plenty Regional Council bought 80 copies to help provide heating and energy information at a Rotorua Home Show.

A government agency with which we frequently work said the magazine looked fantastic. “A really comprehensive guide to all aspects of winter heating with an attractive layout – I’m sure people will want to keep this as a handy reference. I am loath to share it around the office … I’m looking forward to the next one.”

One of our Consumer Trusted businesses was also impressed. “WOW – we have circulated it round the office.”

The magazine has also sold well in supermarkets and book shops.

But we’re not resting – we want to keep improving. This month we’re looking at food labelling and food issues generally. We’ve developed themes for the rest of the year too – including transport and travel, and a Christmas-New Year edition stacked with the best and worst of what we’ve looked at this year. There will also be plenty of advice on your rights and how to get the best out of the summer sales.

If you’ve got ideas, don’t hesitate to let us know. We want the magazine to be a useful reference point as well as an entertaining read! Your feedback is important.
